About this role
Role overview Support public sector organizations as a technical business analyst, turning operational needs into requirements and practical technology solutions. The work spans discovery, process analysis, implementation, testing, and ongoing client support in an Agile delivery environment.
Responsibilities - Elicit and clarify requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, surveys, document reviews, and workflow analysis. - Translate complex needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules, operating concepts, and process diagrams. - Coordinate with stakeholders and development teams through solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and maintenance. - Support application implementations and integrations, validate system quality, and help resolve technical and process issues. - Maintain project plans, dashboards, status updates, issue logs, and change records; provide client support during and after delivery. - Conduct research and ad hoc analysis to inform operational decisions and contribute to project coordination.
Requirements - A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related area, or equivalent education and experience. - Around three years of experience in business process analysis, application implementation and training, or project coordination. - Familiarity with Agile practices, the software development lifecycle, business analysis methods, and project coordination standards. - Knowledge of quality assurance practices and strong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools. - Clear written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to facilitate discussions among business and technical groups. - Ability to manage competing tasks, pay close attention to detail, and meet deadlines in a client-focused environment.
Nice to have - Experience with SQL Server or DB2, and a basic understanding of COBOL or AI tools in an IBM iServer environment.
