Role overview
Be the analytical partner to a user acquisition team, measuring how paid and organic-facing funnels bring users to a portfolio of mobile apps and web properties. The work spans attribution, channel performance, cohort value, and experimentation, turning complex marketing data into practical recommendations for budget and campaign decisions.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain shared datasets and pipelines that support reliable, self-service analysis. - Measure acquisition performance by channel, campaign, geography, and creative, including acquisition cost, return on ad spend, retention, and payback. - Develop cohort curves and predictive lifetime value models to support early bidding and budget decisions. - Reconcile data from attribution providers, advertising networks, and internal events; investigate inconsistencies in installs and revenue. - Analyze web-to-app journeys and identify drop-off from landing page through install and first engagement or reward. - Design and interpret incrementality studies, geographic holdouts, and creative or landing-page experiments; monitor traffic quality and recommend spend adjustments.
Requirements
- At least four years in analytics, including two or more years supporting mobile app user acquisition or performance marketing. - Strong SQL and Python skills, with experience working on large production datasets. - Hands-on experience with at least one mobile measurement partner and a working understanding of attribution windows, re-engagement, and postbacks. - Experience building dashboards, cohort analyses, and lifetime value or payback models. - Familiarity with growth measurement methods such as A/B testing, causal analysis, incrementality, inferential statistics, or media mix modeling. - Ability to communicate findings clearly, collaborate across functions, and connect analysis to business decisions.
Nice to have
Experience with data tools such as Redshift, Spark, or Airflow; experiment design, predictive modeling, log analysis, or mobile privacy measurement are additional strengths.
