Commercial LEO Development Program (CLDP) Integrated Systems Test & Validation/Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) Senior Project Engineer

Role overview Support systems engineering and integration for a commercial low Earth orbit development program, with emphasis on test and validation and operations related products. You’ll work with engineering and vehicle office leads to plan technical work, coordinate reviews, and improve how program deliverables are managed. This is a part-time remote role with periodic onsite support at a space center in Houston, Texas.

Responsibilities - Maintain schedules for systems engineering and integration products and key program milestones. - Plan and provide senior-level test and validation support, including evaluating verification approaches against program requirements and standards. - Develop processes for reviewing alternate standards and assess requests for waivers, deviations, or exceptions. - Coordinate document change packages, stakeholder reviews, and technical meetings to resolve issues. - Prepare materials for program reviews, summarize outcomes, and recommend process improvements.

Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related technical field; an advanced degree is preferred. - At least 10 years of progressively responsible engineering or scientific experience in multidisciplinary systems engineering or program management settings. - At least 5 years of aerospace systems engineering and integration experience. - Strong knowledge of systems engineering and test and validation methods, plus experience building and maintaining project schedules. - Experience coordinating technical documentation and resolving issues; strong communication, collaboration, and process improvement skills.
