Associate Field Service Technician

Role overview

Provide on-site field service to customers in Colorado, helping maintain and improve electrical power equipment and related systems. The work spans troubleshooting, installation, commissioning, maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and replacements, with an emphasis on customer satisfaction, safe work, and identifying equipment issues early.

Responsibilities - Visit customer sites to investigate technical problems and identify opportunities to improve operations. - Install and commission equipment, perform maintenance and repairs, and complete upgrades, retrofits, extensions, and replacements. - Diagnose issues using certified service procedures and recommend corrective action when equipment failure may be developing. - Prepare service material lists and ensure needed parts and equipment meet quality requirements and are available. - Maintain strong customer relationships, communicate potential sales opportunities internally, and suggest product or service improvements. - Follow safety and environmental procedures and promptly report unsafe conditions or incidents.

Requirements - Skilled trades certificate; an electrical or electronics certificate is preferred. - OSHA 30 certification. - Strong written and verbal communication skills for working with people at different organizational levels. - Ability to use Microsoft Office and stay organized while meeting administrative deadlines. - Existing authorization to work in the United States.

Nice to have - Experience planning service work with Microsoft Project or Excel. - Ability to take ownership of tasks and carry them through to completion.
