Email Security Analyst (AI Operations)

Role overview Investigate suspicious and malicious email activity, turn findings into practical security guidance, and help improve threat detection. You’ll partner with product and engineering teams while also supporting customer security teams, combining hands-on analysis with clear communication about attacker behavior and risk.

Responsibilities - Analyze email threats and investigate incidents to identify attacker methods and relevant evidence. - Perform static and dynamic malware analysis and use reverse engineering techniques to understand suspicious files or activity. - Share actionable findings with product and engineering teams to improve detection capabilities. - Help customer security teams understand threats and respond to their concerns. - Write concise reports for internal and external audiences, including customer-facing or public materials when appropriate.

Requirements - Knowledge of current phishing tactics, attacker behavior, and frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK. - Comfort with reverse engineering and both static and dynamic malware analysis. - Practical experience with email security tools, sandboxing platforms, and forensic tools. - Strong written communication, with the ability to explain technical findings clearly. - Familiarity with the security environments of Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.

Nice to have - Basic scripting with Python or PowerShell, and familiarity with SQL.
