Role overview

A junior engineering position on a consulting team that builds data platforms and AI-driven analytics solutions for enterprise clients across industries. The role contributes to projects covering Azure migrations, multi-source data platforms, and modern lakehouse architectures, with day-to-day work spanning SQL development, ETL design, and Power BI reporting.

Responsibilities

- Author advanced SQL queries and database procedures against cloud and on-premises data stores. - Build Power BI dashboards and automated reporting pipelines that turn raw data into decision-ready insight. - Design and implement ETL/ELT processes, data warehouses, data marts, and data lake structures. - Translate stakeholder requirements into logical and physical data models. - Package and deploy data applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and GitHub-based workflows. - Take ownership of individual workstreams and contribute actively to project planning and product evolution.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in a technical, mathematical, or economic discipline. - At least 18 months of hands-on experience building or maintaining data warehouse, BI, or big data systems. - Working knowledge of ETL/ELT patterns and data processing techniques. - Proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation and transformation. - Practical experience with Power BI for visualization. - Familiarity with Azure services and a general understanding of twelve-factor application design plus microservices. - Comfort with Git, CI servers, and modern development tooling. - Self-directed working style with strong organization and time management. - English at C1 level or higher.

Nice to have

- Exposure to Databricks, Apache Spark, or PySpark. - Familiarity with Delta Live Tables and data quality testing patterns.
