Engineering Manager, Data Transformation

Role overview Lead a team of engineers responsible for moving, reshaping, and operationalizing data across the organization. The position blends people management with technical strategy, setting direction for data transformation pipelines that power downstream analytics and product features.

Responsibilities - Manage, coach, and grow a team of software and data engineers - Define the technical roadmap for data transformation and pipeline infrastructure - Partner with analytics, product, and platform stakeholders to align on data needs - Drive reliability, quality, and scalability of data movement and processing systems - Own hiring, onboarding, and performance development for the team - Review designs and code to maintain architectural standards

Requirements - Prior experience managing engineers who build data systems or pipelines - Background in data engineering, ETL/ELT, or large-scale distributed data processing - Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and orchestration tooling - Track record of cross-functional collaboration with analytics or product teams - Ability to balance delivery urgency with long-term platform investment
