SAP CAR Data Transfer and Audit Consultant

Role overview

This consulting role centers on ensuring accurate capture, transfer, and audit of customer activity data, especially Point-of-Sale transactions, flowing into the SAP Customer Activity Repository. The position supports federal-sector clients by translating business needs into technical designs, configuring systems, and resolving data integration issues across retail and financial environments.

Responsibilities

- Partner with clients and stakeholders to define data integration requirements for POS and e-commerce platforms - Author functional specifications and supporting documentation for SAP CAR interfaces and processes - Configure SAP CAR and SAP S/4HANA to ingest, process, and consolidate retail transaction data - Build error-handling, monitoring, and root-cause analysis procedures for transfer issues - Maintain smooth integration between SAP CAR and connected systems such as Finance and Retail modules - Train end-users on CAR workflows and safeguard data accuracy across inbound and outbound streams

Requirements

- 2+ years of hands-on SAP CAR experience including POSDTA, auditing, and data integration - Demonstrated POS and e-commerce integration experience with SAP CAR and SAP S/4 - Solid grasp of retail data flows, master data, and transaction processing - Proven ability to diagnose and resolve data transfer issues - US citizenship with eligibility to obtain a government clearance

Nice to have

- Familiarity with SAP Retail, Finance, or related modules - Background in data governance or audit processes
