Pega Developer (SSA)

Role overview Design and build Pega Platform applications as a Senior System Architect supporting a U.S. federal technology program. The role turns business process needs into scalable Pega solutions covering case management, integrations, UI, and rules, while partnering with DevOps to keep delivery pipelines healthy. Pega certification is required, and the work leans heavily on translating stakeholder intent into clean technical design.

Responsibilities - Design, build, and configure Pega Platform applications aligned to business and technical requirements - Translate business requirements into functional and technical solution designs - Develop data models, process flows, case structures, integrations, UI, and business rules - Apply Pega SSA best practices and guardrails across all development work - Partner with DevOps teams on code integration, deployment, and environment readiness - Troubleshoot issues across the application lifecycle and uphold performance, scalability, and security standards - Mentor junior developers and produce clear, supportable technical documentation

Requirements - Active Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) certification or equivalent - Hands-on experience building Pega applications, including rules, case types, integrations, and UI - Demonstrated ability to design solutions that meet complex business process requirements - Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD tooling - Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills - U.S. citizenship with eligibility to obtain a Public Trust clearance

Nice to have - Experience supporting large-scale enterprise Pega implementations - Exposure to cloud-based or containerized Pega deployments - Working knowledge of complementary technologies such as APIs, databases, and authentication methods - Bachelor's degree in a related field
