Full Stack Developer (SCON)

Role overview A full-stack developer position focused on building and maintaining Java-based applications and reusable web components within an agile delivery model. The role spans the full development lifecycle, from detailed design through configuration, testing, and defect resolution, with an emphasis on producing secure, high-quality code aligned to functional and performance requirements.

Responsibilities - Participate in the full agile development lifecycle for Java applications, RESTful web services, and reusable components. - Perform detailed design work, identifying and implementing reusable building blocks across the application. - Configure, build, and test application and technology architecture components. - Analyze technical requirements and develop, debug, and optimize code aligned with design objectives. - Investigate and resolve defects uncovered during testing phases. - Review and integrate functional, security, and performance requirements throughout development.

Requirements - Proficiency with Java 11 or later. - Hands-on experience in custom software development. - Angular 10+ front-end development experience. - Strong TypeScript skills. - CSS/SASS expertise for styling modern web interfaces. - Working knowledge of REST and JSON. - Familiarity with JPA 2.1+ and Hibernate transaction management. - Experience with aspect-oriented programming (AOP).

Nice to have - Experience building web applications, mobile web apps, and progressive web apps (PWAs).

Benefits and work setup - Base pay range of $94,000–$187,600 USD, depending on location, skill set, and experience, for candidates in select U.S. states and the District of Columbia. - Applications accepted on a rolling basis with no fixed deadline.
