Role overview
This role focuses on partnering with business leaders to identify high-impact automation opportunities and turning them into shipped, AI-powered solutions. The position is hands-on and cross-functional, sitting at the intersection of process redesign, applied AI, and internal tooling. The successful candidate will operate with significant autonomy, owning projects from early discovery through measurement and iteration.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with leaders and operational teams to map current workflows, surface high-value automation opportunities, and shape solutions that unlock meaningful capacity - Redesign existing processes by removing unnecessary steps and rebuilding simpler, more scalable flows before layering in automation - Prototype, test, and launch AI-powered automations using large language models, agents, and complementary tooling - Connect existing systems through APIs and automation platforms so that data and actions move cleanly across the business - Document solutions, set practical guardrails, and enable teams to confidently adopt, run, and maintain what is built - Track outcomes such as time saved, capacity created, and efficiency gains, and use those signals to inform the next round of priorities
Requirements
- A track record of taking ambiguous problems from idea through implementation and ongoing maintenance, not just prototyping - Hands-on experience with large language models and AI tools, with concrete examples of using them to change how work gets done - A responsible AI mindset with attention to data privacy, security, access controls, and appropriate safeguards around sensitive information - Technical foundation in Python or a comparable language, SQL and databases, APIs, and automation platforms such as n8n, Zapier, or Make - Familiarity with modern development and deployment tooling including Git, Vercel, Railway, or cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP - A business-first approach that starts with the problem rather than the technology, plus the ability to work independently through ambiguity
