Role overview
The Senior Enterprise AI Engineer, IT Operations designs, builds, and deploys AI-driven solutions that automate workflows and improve employee productivity across IT, Security, Finance, HR, Legal, and go-to-market functions. The position combines hands-on engineering of AI agents and integrations with a focus on responsible, secure deployment inside an enterprise SaaS environment. It is a senior, IC-level builder role that partners closely with business stakeholders and security teams.
Responsibilities
- Design and ship production AI solutions and assistants using Workato, MCP frameworks, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Claude, and related platforms. - Build automated workflows that connect SaaS applications, internal systems, and data services into AI-powered processes. - Embed security, privacy, and compliance controls within AI solutions, including safeguards against data leakage and prompt injection. - Develop reusable components, templates, and patterns that accelerate AI adoption across teams. - Translate business challenges into scalable technical implementations through partnership with stakeholders in IT, Security, Enterprise Applications, and the broader business.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise engineering, software engineering, automation, or IT systems. - Hands-on experience building integrations with Workato, Tines, or comparable platforms. - Practical experience with LLM-based applications, prompt engineering, AI assistants, or agent frameworks. - Strong grasp of APIs, integrations, and SaaS ecosystems. - Experience implementing security and compliance controls in cloud-based environments.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with MCP or similar agent and context management frameworks. - Experience extending Microsoft 365 Copilot via Microsoft Graph APIs. - Background with Claude or other enterprise AI platforms. - Knowledge of AI governance and responsible AI principles. - Prior work supporting internal platforms within a SaaS company.
