Forward Deployed Engineer

Role overview A hands-on Forward Deployed Engineer embedded with sales, engineering, and service delivery teams to design and ship complex end-to-end deployments of frontier AI models for enterprise clients. The role combines consulting, architecture, and full-stack coding, with success measured through production adoption, workflow impact, and evaluation-driven feedback that informs product and model roadmaps.

Responsibilities - Explore and ideate opportunities inside go-to-market teams to scale adoption of agentic solutions, complex data models, and intricate workflows - Map sales journeys and create end-to-end blueprints that identify where AI and agents can change how work gets done - Own technical delivery across multiple deployments, moving work from prototype to stable production while managing scope, speed, and quality trade-offs - Build full-stack systems in Python, JavaScript, or comparable stacks, including applications powered by large language models and generative models - Embed with account teams, understand their needs, and guide adoption of what is built, including preparing demonstrations and proof-of-concept environments - Share field feedback with research and product teams that helps shape model and product roadmaps - Codify working patterns into tools, playbooks, and reusable building blocks for other teams

Requirements - Five or more years working within Google Cloud Platform, Azure, or AWS, with GCP strongly preferred - Professional-level GCP certification required; forward-deployed engineer training and certification a plus - Seven or more years of engineering or technical deployment experience, including customer- or stakeholder-facing work - Experience scoping and delivering complex systems in fast-moving or ambiguous environments - Production-grade coding experience across frontend and backend, plus hands-on experience building or deploying systems powered by LLMs or generative models, preferably on the Google stack or Anthropic - Strong communication, full-stack thinking, and the ability to lead critical decisions with engineers, product teams, and customer stakeholders, including at the executive level - Demonstrated foresight, risk management, and ability to adjust runtime without harming customer experience

Nice to have - Architectural experience with large-scale Google Cloud solutions - Comfort engaging with C-level stakeholders during consulting-style engagements
