Data & Analytics Lead

Role overview Build a dependable, self-service data and analytics capability that helps teams answer product and business questions. This hands-on role combines analytics, data engineering, AI-enabled workflows, and deep DeFi knowledge, connecting on-chain activity with product performance, market dynamics, and business outcomes. You’ll make trusted data easier for both people and AI systems to explore and use.

Responsibilities - Shape a self-service data and AI platform, including natural-language interfaces, dashboards, and other ways for teams to explore reliable data. - Build AI-assisted workflows and agents that speed up analysis while keeping answers grounded, transparent, and verifiable. - Turn ambiguous questions into structured hypotheses, robust analysis, and clear recommendations. - Define metrics and analytical frameworks linking user behavior, product results, on-chain activity, market conditions, and business outcomes. - Design and maintain data models, pipelines, and transformations that bring on-chain and off-chain sources into reusable data products. - Use Dune to investigate decentralized exchanges, aggregators, swaps, liquidity, routing, users, protocols, and markets; maintain standards for data quality, documentation, and observability.

Requirements - At least six years in data analytics, analytics engineering, or data engineering, with evidence of solving complex product or business problems. - Expert Dune skills and advanced SQL, including building complex on-chain queries, datasets, dashboards, and analyses. - Strong knowledge of blockchain and DeFi data, especially decentralized exchanges and aggregators, swaps, liquidity, routing, transactions, events, traces, and smart-contract interactions. - Hands-on Python skills for analysis, data processing, automation, or AI-enabled workflows. - Experience building and operating data platforms with ClickHouse and Airflow, including data modeling, pipelines, transformations, quality, and observability. - Ability to communicate findings clearly and turn recurring needs into scalable data capabilities; practical experience using Cursor to accelerate analytics and engineering.

Nice to have Experience in a DeFi protocol, exchange, or other data-intensive Web3 product; work with raw multi-chain data; applied statistics, experimentation, forecasting, or anomaly detection; or public contributions such as Dune dashboards, research, or open-source analytics.
