Senior Information Security Engineer

Role overview A remote senior engineering role within an enterprise security organization, focused on protecting corporate data through day-to-day data protection operations. The position partners closely with business teams to understand where sensitive information lives and what controls are needed to keep it safe. It reports into the enterprise security management layer and emphasizes hands-on tool implementation, tuning, and continuous improvement of alert fidelity.

Responsibilities - Implement data loss prevention tools and provide tuning recommendations to reduce noise and improve signal - Review DLP alerts across web, endpoint, and email channels, working to move controls toward blocking state with minimal business disruption - Run periodic reviews of the data protection program and recommend concrete improvements - Build relationships with business partners to map where sensitive data resides and apply appropriate safeguards - Extend monitoring into cloud and SaaS data stores where company information lives - Identify opportunities for automation to streamline data processing and tuning workflows

Requirements - Practical experience with multiple DLP solutions covering web, endpoint, and email exfiltration paths - Demonstrated ability to review DLP alerts, tune out false positives, and progress controls to enforcement - Familiarity with cloud and SaaS data stores and how to deploy monitoring and controls against them - Active interest in AI tools and a track record of using new technology to improve daily work - Comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with a strong sense of ownership - Ability to move between strategic planning and hands-on execution as needed

Nice to have - Experience with cloud-delivered security platforms and data security posture management tooling - Automation skills for data processing and tuning workflows
