Remote job
AI Solutions Engineer, People & Culture
Job details
About this role
Role overview This role focuses on transforming a People & Culture function into an AI-native operation by designing and shipping production-grade agents that embed HR practitioner judgment into governed, human-supervised automations. The position blends deep technical building with hands-on enablement of subject matter experts, so they can eventually own and extend the tools themselves.
Responsibilities - Design, deploy, and continuously improve high-impact agents using modern builder tools and model integrations, taking each one from initial prototype through to a hardened, governed product. - Pair closely with HR practitioners across functions to encode domain expertise into agents, while transferring enough technical craft that those practitioners can maintain and evolve their tools independently. - Rethink underlying workflows rather than simply automating broken processes, redesigning from the inside out so that AI solves root-cause problems. - Operate as a true product owner after launch by tracking adoption, diagnosing failures, and coaching skeptical users into committed ones. - Collaborate with internal AI platform and engineering teams to resolve the hardest integration challenges and co-create mature governance standards.
Requirements - Demonstrated hands-on experience building AI agents, automations, or tools that changed how real work gets done. - Technical fluency sufficient to design agent architectures and instructions, work with model context protocols and governance systems, and evaluate outputs without engineering hand-holding. - Track record of taking solutions from problem identification through real adoption, while simultaneously upskilling others through training or sustained collaboration. - Highly autonomous, self-directed operator comfortable as a senior individual contributor in a domain still being invented. - Awareness of the risks associated with people data and a careful, governance-forward approach to building.
Benefits and work setup - Remote role based in the United States, reporting into the AI Transformation Director. - Full-time position with a published base pay range of $117,250–$167,500 USD, plus a benefits package that includes health plans, vacation and sick time, parental leave, retirement options, and education reimbursement.
