Senior Frontend Engineer (React / TypeScript)

Role overview A senior frontend engineering position on a remote-first product team focused on building responsive, accessible user interfaces with React and TypeScript. The engineer partners with designers, backend developers, and product owners to ship high-quality features, driving technical excellence across the frontend codebase.

Responsibilities - Develop and maintain production user interfaces using React and TypeScript across one or more product surfaces. - Translate product requirements and design specifications into performant, accessible, and maintainable frontend code. - Collaborate closely with designers, backend engineers, and product owners to scope, build, and ship features end to end. - Lead frontend architecture decisions, code reviews, and shared component patterns that scale across the product. - Mentor junior engineers and help nurture a strong, collaborative engineering culture. - Continuously improve performance, reliability, and developer experience of the frontend stack.

Requirements - Five or more years of professional software engineering experience, with significant focus on frontend development. - Deep expertise in React and TypeScript, including modern tooling, state management, and testing practices. - Strong commitment to writing clean, maintainable, well-tested code. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English for distributed, remote-first collaboration. - Proven ability to mentor junior teammates and contribute to a positive team environment.

Nice to have - Experience working with design systems and component libraries shared across products. - Openness to participating in technical assessments or showcasing work through a portfolio.
