Role overview
A remote-first engineering team is hiring a Mobile Engineer to build and ship cross-platform applications using Flutter and Dart. The role is a full-time position embedded with cross-functional squads, focusing on feature ownership, code quality, and global product scaling.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain mobile features using Flutter and Dart across iOS and Android targets. - Partner with designers, backend engineers, and product owners to translate requirements into shipped releases. - Take ownership of end-to-end feature delivery, from technical design through release and iteration. - Champion clean, maintainable code and contribute to architectural decisions for the mobile stack. - Mentor junior engineers and help foster a positive, collaborative remote team culture. - Identify and address performance, reliability, and scalability concerns as the product grows.
Requirements
- At least five years of professional software engineering experience in a relevant role. - Strong hands-on expertise with Flutter, Dart, and the surrounding mobile development ecosystem. - Solid problem-solving skills with a track record of writing clean, maintainable code. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English for remote collaboration. - Demonstrated passion for mentoring and contributing to team culture.
