Role overview
A remote-first engineering team is hiring a DevOps / Platform Engineer to build the infrastructure, tooling, and deployment pipelines that power its products. The role partners closely with application engineers, designers, and product owners to deliver reliable, scalable systems end-to-end.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and developer tooling. - Operate and evolve the platform that supports multiple production applications. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed DevOps practices into the development lifecycle. - Take ownership of reliability, observability, and incident response processes. - Drive technical excellence through automation, monitoring, and continuous improvement. - Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a healthy, collaborative remote culture.
Requirements
- At least five years of professional software engineering experience in a relevant role. - Strong expertise with the methodologies and tools associated with DevOps and platform engineering. - Excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to clean, maintainable designs and code. - Strong verbal and written communication skills in English for distributed teamwork. - A passion for mentoring and elevating the broader engineering team.
