A senior iOS engineering role owning the mobile app end to end alongside one other mobile engineer in a small, product-focused team. The position spans architecture decisions, App Store releases, and the real-time calling experience that defines how users interact with the product. The hire will set the technical bar and mentor the broader mobile team on craft and process.
Responsibilities
- Own iOS development from architecture choices through App Store submissions - Lead the calling stack, lock-screen integration, audio routing, and picture-in-picture behavior - Drive performance, stability, and the small UX details that distinguish a polished app from an average one - Mentor the rest of the mobile team on engineering practice and shipping discipline
Requirements
- Five or more years shipping production iOS apps that real people use daily - Strong proficiency in Swift and modern asynchronous programming patterns - Hands-on experience with audio and video work on iOS - A track record of shipped work, with the App Store itself serving as the portfolio
