Role overview
Manage customer and supplier outcomes for customized manufactured parts in a fast-moving operations environment. This role tracks orders from production through delivery, resolves quality and schedule issues, coordinates corrective actions, and keeps customers and internal teams informed when risks arise.
Responsibilities
- Monitor multiple customer orders and supplier jobs, taking action to improve on-time delivery, quality, and customer satisfaction. - Build productive relationships with customers and manufacturing partners while providing accurate, timely order updates. - Assess supplier capabilities and oversee supplier activities, including phone assessments, schedule planning, quality reviews, and corrective actions. - Investigate rejected parts, support root-cause analysis, coordinate resolutions, and manage complaints that require replacements. - Report order status, risks, recovery plans, and operational issues to stakeholders and leadership. - Record case activity in the central database, monitor supplier-quality metrics, and collaborate with engineering, customer care, quality, sales, and shipping teams.
Requirements
- At least three years of relevant experience, preferably in manufacturing, operations, supply chain, project management, or customer service. - Ability to analyze root causes and develop practical solutions to complex problems. - Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, engineering drawings, and mechanical or electrical inspection methods. - Bachelor of Science degree in supply chain, engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred. - Self-starter who can work independently, drive actions to completion, manage deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with English proficiency at C1 level.
