Mid / Senior Mobile Developer, React Native

Role overview Build and maintain cross-platform mobile features for products serving users in the Philippines. The role offers a mid-level path for developers with roughly three years of professional mobile delivery, as well as a senior path for candidates with broader production ownership. You’ll work with product, design, QA, and backend teammates, with an emphasis on dependable releases, performance, and practical user experiences.

Responsibilities - Develop and maintain iOS and Android features using React Native with TypeScript or JavaScript. - Integrate mobile apps with REST or GraphQL services, including authentication, error handling, and secure data storage. - Work with product and design partners on user flows, accessibility, and implementation decisions. - Write unit and integration tests suited to feature risk and release cadence. - Investigate crashes, performance problems, and device-specific behavior; support code reviews and releases. - On the senior path, shape module architecture, mentor teammates, and improve engineering practices.

Requirements - Mid path: about three years of professional experience shipping React Native or comparable cross-platform apps; senior path: deeper ownership of architecture and complex production features. - Strong React Native and React skills, plus proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript. - Experience releasing apps for both iOS and Android, through app stores or internal distribution. - Working knowledge of navigation, state management, and mobile performance concerns. - Ability to troubleshoot native bridges, third-party SDKs, and API integrations. - Clear written communication and reliable collaboration in a remote, flexible-time team.

Nice to have - Expo, EAS, Fastlane, or mobile CI/CD experience; native iOS or Android development. - Familiarity with secure storage, biometrics, or mobile application security. - Exposure to fintech, financial wellness, or regulated mobile data. - Careful use of AI-assisted development tools, with validation and sound engineering judgment.
