Senior Software Engineer I (Data Pipelines)

Role overview A senior engineering role focused on developing, optimizing, and automating the data pipelines that power a modern data and marketing intelligence platform. Responsibilities - Lead complex data projects from design through delivery, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability of data solutions - Architect technical initiatives and drive the introduction of new tooling and architectural patterns across the data stack - Push the delivery speed and quality of ELT pipelines through automation, repeatable patterns, and engineering best practices - Collaborate with senior management on roadmap prioritization and strategic planning for the data function - Mentor other engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and pairing to raise the overall quality bar - Foster a culture of data engineering excellence through standards, documentation, and continuous improvement

Requirements - Senior-level experience designing, building, and operating production data pipelines at scale - Deep familiarity with modern ELT tooling and architectural patterns for cloud data platforms - Proven ability to architect high-performance data solutions that balance speed, cost, and reliability - Track record leading complex, cross-functional technical projects end to end - Experience mentoring engineers and partnering with senior stakeholders on roadmap decisions - Strong strategic planning skills and the ability to influence engineering direction across teams
