About this role

Role overview This Technical Account Manager role drives adoption of a cloud-security platform across state, local, and education (SLED) customers and universities. The position blends deep cloud and security expertise with consultative customer engagement to guide government organizations through onboarding, operationalization, and long-term success against stringent federal requirements.

Responsibilities - Serve as a trusted technical advisor and platform expert throughout deployment, configuration, and operationalization using federal cloud-security best practices. - Act as the primary technical liaison, driving resolution of complex architectural and operational challenges across intricate federal cloud environments. - Lead customers toward full adoption and measurable value while promoting excellence in cloud, code, and runtime security. - Help customers build success plans with measurable goals aligned to security, compliance, and mission objectives. - Navigate complex federal organizational structures and cultivate relationships with state and local CISOs, Authorizing Officials, and technical practitioners. - Bridge collaboration between product management, sales, engineering, and support teams to deliver a cohesive customer experience.

Requirements - B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar field, or equivalent practical experience. - 4+ years in a technical customer-facing role such as Technical Account Manager, Professional Services, or Solutions Engineer supporting cloud or cloud-security products. - 4+ years working in or supporting state, local, or education (SLED) organizations. - Hands-on experience delivering cloud solutions across at least one major provider (AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI) and their government offerings such as GovCloud, Azure Government, or Assured Workloads. - Practical experience navigating FedRAMP or GovRAMP authorization processes and frameworks such as NIST 800-53 and NIST 800-171. - Experience deploying containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes and addressing their security considerations. - Experience with DevOps technologies such as CI/CD, version control, or infrastructure as code, plus Linux and Windows security concepts.

Nice to have - Cloud provider certifications such as Certified Solutions Architect Professional or Certified DevOps Engineer Professional. - Security certifications such as CISSP or CCSP and experience addressing complex cloud-security challenges. - Proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders from technical practitioners to Senior Executive Service members, military officers, and agency CISOs.

Benefits and work setup - US base salary range of $130,400–$151,400 USD, plus bonus and equity eligibility. - Applicants must have legal right to work in the country of the position without visa sponsorship; visa sponsorship is not offered for this role. - Compensation and benefits details vary by location, level, and experience.
