Senior Technical Program Manager, Security

Role overview A senior program management role focused on leading large-scale security and IT initiatives within a fast-growing cloud security organization. The position partners with engineering, legal, and business leaders to align technical programs with strategic goals, manage risk, and demonstrate measurable impact on organizational security posture and customer trust.

Responsibilities - Drive end-to-end, multi-team programs spanning security, IT, and engineering from strategy through execution, balancing risk mitigation with the pace of a high-growth environment. - Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders across security, legal, engineering, and business teams to align on priorities, dependencies, and shared outcomes, partnering with practice leads on a unified security and compliance framework. - Own program governance including risk tracking, scope management, timeline ownership, and proactive escalation of blockers to senior leadership. - Integrate external standards and frameworks to streamline and automate compliance efforts, ensuring controls are applied consistently with business objectives. - Assess and mitigate risk against industry frameworks, monitor evolving customer expectations, and foster a culture of collaboration and compliance across teams.

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, a related IT field, or equivalent practical experience. - 10+ years of experience in security and/or IT roles with a strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, systems architecture, security threats, and compliance frameworks. - Demonstrated technical program management track record in technology domains, thriving in ambiguous, high-growth environments where priorities shift quickly. - Proven ability to present technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, with strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to bridge technical work and business goals. - Solid technical foundation including software development processes, paired with creative problem-solving, analytical skills, and a collaborative, team-oriented work style. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.

Nice to have - Cybersecurity certifications such as CISM or CISSP.

Benefits and work setup - Full-time position with compensation comprising base salary, bonus, equity, and benefits; pay is determined by role, level, and location. - The published US base salary range is $189,000–$258,000 USD; bonus, equity, and benefits are offered in addition to base pay. - Candidates must have legal right to work in the role's country; visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
