About this role

Role overview A cloud security company is hiring a Senior Technical Account Manager to guide strategic enterprise customers through onboarding, adoption, and long-term success on its AI-powered cloud security platform. This senior, customer-facing role blends deep cloud and security expertise with consultative account management, bridging customers and internal Product, Engineering, Sales, and Support teams.

Responsibilities - Act as the primary technical advisor for a portfolio of up to 10 strategic customers, guiding deployment, configuration, and operationalization of the platform using cloud security best practices. - Resolve technical questions and escalations across email, chat, and ticketing channels while staying current on new platform features and emerging cloud threats. - Co-develop customer success plans with measurable goals tied to security and compliance objectives, and project-manage adoption across multiple business units. - Track progress against business goals, deliver executive-ready updates, and contribute to quarterly business reviews and executive briefings. - Capture feature requests and adoption blockers, advocating for customers with Product and Engineering to shape prioritization and alternatives. - Identify expansion opportunities, surface renewal risks, and partner with Sales to secure renewals, while mentoring peers and contributing to documentation and industry events.

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. - 8–12 years in technical customer-facing roles supporting a cloud or cloud-security product (e.g., Senior TAM, Principal Solutions Engineer, Lead Customer Success Engineer, Senior Architect). - Expert-level knowledge of cloud services and architecture across at least two providers such as AWS, GCP, Azure, or OCI. - Hands-on experience deploying and operationalizing container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes) and DevOps tooling (CI/CD, version control, infrastructure as code), including their security implications. - Working knowledge of Linux and Windows operating-system security concepts and troubleshooting. - Demonstrated experience managing a book of 5 or more complex enterprise or strategic accounts.

Nice to have - Security certifications such as CISSP or CCSP, paired with experience addressing complex cloud-security challenges. - Advanced cloud provider certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional). - Familiarity with advanced threat models, cloud-security best practices, and CNAPP use cases. - Strong data-driven instincts, using CRM and log analysis tools to monitor customer health and inform retention strategy. - Proven ability to build executive-level relationships and exceed performance targets.

Benefits and work setup - Applicants must have the legal right to work in the country where the position is based; visa sponsorship is not offered for this role.
