About this role

Role overview A senior, remote post-sales engineering role supporting an enterprise data platform built for AI and other compute-intensive workloads. The position sits at the intersection of customer success and engineering, acting as the primary technical contact for top-tier enterprise customers and feeding product improvements back into engineering.

Responsibilities - Serve as the main technical liaison between customers and internal engineering, addressing feature gaps, reliability concerns, and documentation needs - Troubleshoot complex problems spanning distributed storage, Linux infrastructure, and high-performance networking, escalating to engineering when appropriate - Proactively monitor deployed systems with remote tooling to detect and resolve issues before customers feel them - Support pre-sales engineers, partners, and resellers with deep technical expertise - Track and document customer cases through a ticketing system, and contribute to internal and customer-facing knowledge base content - Participate in follow-the-sun on-call rotations, with availability for nights, weekends, holidays, and possible regional or international travel

Requirements - 10+ years in customer-facing technical roles resolving complex enterprise infrastructure issues - L3 or higher support experience with Linux-based storage, networking, virtualization, or cloud environments - Strong grasp of distributed storage systems, Linux/Unix administration, and high-performance networking (Infiniband, Ethernet, DPDK, UCX) - Proficiency in Python and Bash with a track record of scripting for monitoring and automation - Working knowledge of POSIX, NFS, S3, log management, and observability tooling such as Prometheus and Grafana

Nice to have - Familiarity with Kubernetes, containers, LXC, and major cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, OCI, and GCP - Prior experience managing large-scale HPC clusters - Hands-on use of collaboration platforms such as JIRA, Confluence, and Slack - Strong technical writing skills and a creative approach to problem-solving

Benefits and work setup Remote role based in the United States. The employer describes a culture built on accountability, courage, collaboration, and customer centricity, with explicit expectations around ownership, transparent communication, and respectful challenge.
