Animal Pharmacy Customer Service Call Center Agent - Remote after training~

Role overview A large veterinary compounding pharmacy is hiring Customer Care Specialists to support pet owners, veterinarians, and prescribers across the country. The position is based in a remote call center after an initial paid training period at a New Jersey campus, with a mission of helping animals receive customized medications and better health outcomes.

Responsibilities - Answer 60 or more customer contacts per day across phone, email, SMS, chat, and mail channels - Enter and process prescriptions accurately within multiple pharmacy systems - Look up patient and prescriber records to support efficient service delivery - Spend roughly 90% of the workday actively assisting customers without interruption - Work independently and collaborate with teammates across pharmacy and fulfillment operations - Adapt quickly to varied interaction types and customer needs while meeting performance metrics

Requirements - High school diploma or equivalent - Previous experience in a high-volume call center or comparable phone-based environment - Strong data entry, multitasking, and math skills - Professional computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet applications - Clear, persuasive communication and strong attention to detail - Must live within commuting distance of the New Jersey training site - Ability to obtain a New Jersey Pharmacy Technician license (training provided)
