Role overview This is a remote customer service advisor position supporting customers from a home-based setup, with the role attached to an Ipswich, United Kingdom location. The advisor will serve as a frontline point of contact, handling inbound enquiries and helping customers resolve questions or issues over the phone, chat, or email. It is a customer support role within a business process outsourcing environment, focused on delivering consistent service quality to end customers of client brands.
Responsibilities - Respond to customer enquiries through voice and/or digital channels in a timely, professional manner - Diagnose customer issues, identify appropriate solutions, and follow through to resolution - Accurately record interactions, case notes, and outcomes in the relevant contact centre systems - Meet defined service-level targets for response time, quality, and customer satisfaction - Escalate complex or sensitive cases to senior team members or specialist teams as required - Adhere to compliance, data protection, and information security standards during every interaction
Requirements - Previous experience in a customer service, contact centre, or call-handling environment - Strong verbal and written communication skills in English - Comfortable working independently from a remote home office with a reliable internet connection - Ability to manage multiple enquiries while maintaining accuracy and a calm manner - Flexible availability, including the potential for shift patterns that cover standard business hours
