Role overview
Build and maintain a mobile app used by waste collection crews while working in the field. The work centers on the driver experience, including in-cab navigation, reliable use when connectivity is limited, and GPS-based visibility for supervisors and municipal operators.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the driver-facing mobile application. - Build navigation experiences designed for use in the cab. - Implement offline-first data handling and synchronization. - Integrate GPS tracking to support real-time operational visibility. - Support the needs of field teams as well as supervisors and municipal operators.
Requirements
- Mobile engineering experience for iOS and Android. - React Native experience. - Experience with GPS integration. - Knowledge of offline-first mobile application design and data synchronization.
