Responsibilities - Lead automation engineering workstreams that improve manufacturing process performance, reliability, and throughput within an advanced manufacturing setting. - Translate operational excellence (OPEX) priorities into technical automation solutions aligned with broader operations and leadership goals. - Manage projects end-to-end, coordinating with cross-functional teams across the operations organization to deliver on schedule and within scope. - Apply disciplined project management practices to track milestones, risks, dependencies, and outcomes for automation initiatives. - Partner with manufacturing and engineering stakeholders to identify opportunities where automation can reduce waste, variability, and manual effort.

Requirements - Senior-level experience in automation engineering applied to advanced manufacturing environments. - Demonstrated track record of leading technical projects, ideally with responsibilities aligned to a Project Management job family. - Working knowledge of operational excellence (OPEX) methodologies and their application on the manufacturing floor. - Ability to operate as a full-time salaried professional, including managing cross-functional stakeholders and reporting into operations leadership. - Eligibility to work remotely from Texas, United States on a regular full-time basis.

Nice to have - Background in heavy industrial or rail-equipment manufacturing, where process automation directly supports large-scale production operations. - Experience operating within a global, matrixed operations organization with distributed leadership.
