Senior Software Engineer

Role overview Lead the development of scalable, secure healthcare technology solutions that process clinical data at scale. The role combines technical leadership, hands-on architecture, and engineering mentorship to advance patient care through resilient, cloud-native platforms and modern data infrastructure.

Responsibilities - Architect and lead development of scalable systems using event-driven architectures and distributed design patterns - Own end-to-end delivery of mission-critical products, including real-time data pipelines and ETL flows - Integrate and serve healthcare data standards such as FHIR, CCDA, and HL7 V2/V3 at scale - Build resilient microservices and customer-facing applications with strong versioning and backward compatibility - Optimize system performance and infrastructure costs through caching, refactoring, and cloud-native design - Partner with product and stakeholders to translate requirements into sustainable technical solutions

Requirements - 5-7 years of software engineering experience with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field - Proficiency in Python and Java, including modern frameworks like Flask, FastAPI, or Spring Boot - Mastery of event-driven architectures such as Kafka and Kinesis plus cloud platforms including AWS and Kubernetes - Experience building scalable real-time data pipelines and hybrid batch/stream systems - Hands-on work integrating healthcare data standards like FHIR, CCDA, HL7 V2/V3, or DICOM - Database design experience across SQL, NoSQL, and data warehousing tools such as Redshift, BigQuery, or Snowflake

Nice to have - Healthcare technology or regulated industry experience (Medicare, Medicaid, payor systems, EHR integrations) - Familiarity with AI/ML integration, real-time analytics, or genomic data pipelines - Knowledge of healthcare security and compliance frameworks such as HIPAA or HITRUST
