Responsibilities
- Modify software systems based on detailed specifications and design documents, applying sound engineering principles throughout. - Develop and test incremental code that is maintainable, efficient, reliable, and easy to extend. - Design, code, and test functional components of information systems according to project specifications. - Produce project documentation and user training materials aligned with program requirements. - Generate database extracts that support system data needs and downstream reporting. - Partner with stakeholders to confirm complete, functioning systems that satisfy all requirements. - Recommend approved process and policy improvements and help drive their rollout.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree plus at least seven years of experience in SAP ABAP S/4HANA, with emphasis on retail, FI (AR/AP/GL/FM), SMART Forms, and SAP Scripts. - Track record of working across large, distributed teams and communicating clearly with technical peers, customers, and external stakeholders. - An active Security+ certification. - Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time. - U.S. citizenship and ability to pass a Tier 2 background investigation with favorable results before starting. - Experience creating, maintaining, and communicating complex IT documentation. - Solid knowledge of SAP BTP, S/4HANA, and ABAP, plus data management practices, event-driven architectures, and security best practices.
