Service Automation Software Engineer

Role overview Build and operate software that uses automation, machine learning, and AI to address complex business needs and improve service delivery. The role spans discovery and design through deployment, adoption, and production support, with hands-on engineering alongside consultation with teams across the organization.

Responsibilities - Work with partner teams to understand needs and turn them into scalable technical designs. - Develop, test, deploy, and support automation and AI solutions through their full lifecycle. - Use modern AI platforms and agent-based architectures to create production-ready tools. - Apply DevOps and MLOps practices to delivery and ongoing operations. - Track project progress, solution performance, adoption, and key outcome measures.

Requirements - Strong software engineering fundamentals and practical experience delivering production software. - Experience with process automation and machine learning solutions. - Hands-on familiarity with modern AI platforms and agent-based architectures. - Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and translate complex needs into workable solutions. - Experience with DevOps and MLOps practices for reliable delivery and support.

Benefits and work setup The listed annual base salary is $165,000–$260,500, with a higher range of $205,000–$307,000 for specified metropolitan locations. Compensation may vary with relevant skills and experience; additional incentives and benefits may be offered depending on the position.
