Computer Vision Engineer (Sign Language Recognition)

Role overview Build computer vision systems that recognize and interpret sign language gestures in real time, supporting accessible communication for Deaf and hard-of-hearing users. The work spans model development, gesture tracking, dataset creation, research, and optimization for mobile and embedded devices.

Responsibilities - Develop computer vision models for real-time sign language recognition. - Create gesture tracking and pose estimation systems. - Build datasets and annotation pipelines for sign language. - Optimize models for mobile and embedded platforms. - Research and implement current methods in visual recognition.

Requirements - At least four years of experience in computer vision and deep learning. - Strong background in pose estimation and gesture recognition. - Experience with video understanding and temporal modeling. - Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks. - Understanding of model optimization techniques.

Nice to have - Knowledge of sign language structure and grammar. - Experience with augmented or virtual reality applications. - Publications at leading computer vision conferences.
