Senior Project Engineer

Role overview Lead system-level engineering and technical execution for a complex space network and enterprise program, from early development through deployment. The role coordinates teams spanning networking, software, operations, and integration, keeping designs, requirements, verification, and delivery plans aligned as the system comes together.

Responsibilities - Convert mission needs and high-level requirements into engineering plans and coordinated technical work. - Guide system design, interface definition, and integration across multiple technical domains. - Manage technical scope, schedule, and risks to keep delivery aligned with mission objectives. - Coordinate networking, software, operations, and integration-and-test teams through implementation and system integration. - Lead system bring-up and troubleshoot network or software integration issues while maintaining requirements traceability. - Prepare technical briefings, design reviews, engineering documentation, and materials for planning and milestone reviews.

Requirements - Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical, computer, mechanical, or systems engineering, or a related technical field. - At least 10 years of experience in system-level engineering, integration, or technical project leadership for complex communications, enterprise, or networking systems. - Ability to translate mission requirements into system designs, interfaces, and executable engineering plans. - Experience coordinating across engineering disciplines and guiding integration and verification work. - Strong technical communication skills for design reviews, documentation, and stakeholder discussions.

Nice to have - Experience with enterprise networking and satellite or space system architectures.
