Network and Systems Engineer

Role overview Design, secure, and maintain resilient network and systems infrastructure across physical and virtual environments. The role combines complex troubleshooting and operational escalation with technical leadership, standards development, and collaboration across project teams.

Responsibilities - Build and safeguard highly available network architectures and supporting infrastructure. - Troubleshoot complex issues across routing, switching, firewalls, virtual machines, storage, and compute, and investigate their root causes. - Handle escalated infrastructure problems and support corrective maintenance. - Maintain engineering standards and recommend improvements or new technologies. - Coordinate with internal and external project teams, representing network and systems expertise in technical discussions. - Mentor other engineers and support system integration activities, which may involve travel.

Requirements - Demonstrated expertise in network engineering and infrastructure systems. - Ability to complete complex work with limited supervision and confidently propose technical improvements. - Strong troubleshooting skills across network, compute, storage, and virtualization components. - Ability to coordinate with project teams and communicate technical decisions to specialists across disciplines. - Willingness to travel when needed to support system integration.
