Business Development Engineer - Mission Systems

Shape technical solutions for new and existing programs by connecting customer needs with engineering capabilities and business priorities. This mid- to senior-level role spans opportunity capture, solution design, proposal development, and customer engagement, helping teams present credible and differentiated approaches.

Responsibilities - Lead or contribute to technical capture activities from early concepts through proposal submission. - Develop architectures and solution concepts that address customer needs, constraints, and evaluation criteria. - Identify technical strengths and innovations that can distinguish a proposed approach. - Write or co-write technical volumes, white papers, concept papers, slide decks, and supporting proposal material. - Coordinate with program, capture, engineering, and business development colleagues to keep submissions accurate, coherent, and compliant. - Present technical approaches to customers and help translate their problems into executable plans.

Requirements - Mid- to senior-level engineering experience across multiple technical domains. - Ability to develop technically credible solutions aligned with customer requirements and organizational strategy. - Strong technical writing and presentation skills, including explaining complex ideas clearly. - Experience collaborating across engineering, program management, and business development functions. - Current TS/SCI security clearance.
