Cloud Platform and Data Engineer [U.S. Citizenship Required, Public Trust Eligibility]

Role overview This full-time cloud platform and data engineering role supports secure cloud environments and applications connected to Salesforce. You’ll help deploy and operate AWS infrastructure, automate delivery, maintain integrations and data flows, and troubleshoot issues alongside developers and platform specialists. The position combines cloud engineering, platform support, and production operations in a federal program setting.

Responsibilities - Build, maintain, and optimize AWS compute, storage, networking, and database infrastructure. - Support Salesforce solutions and connected application workflows, integrations, and data access. - Maintain APIs, data ingestion, and ETL processes, investigating flow issues and data inconsistencies. - Develop CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure configurations using tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD, Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible. - Help operate containerized services, monitor system health, and troubleshoot infrastructure, application, API, integration, and database issues. - Apply security controls, contribute automated tests, document operating procedures, and participate in Agile team activities.

Requirements - 3–5 years of relevant professional experience, including hands-on Salesforce platform experience; AWS experience is also required. - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or a related field. - U.S. citizenship and current U.S. residence, with at least three of the past five years spent living in the United States. - Eligibility to obtain and maintain a government Public Trust suitability determination and successful completion of a background investigation, including a credit check, before starting.

Benefits and work setup Full-time, W-2 employment. Work is remote within the United States; preference is given to candidates in certain states. Compensation is listed as $100,000–$120,000, depending on experience.
