Staff Data Scientist

Role overview Apply advanced quantitative methods to support business model development and product innovation. You’ll take analytical work from raw data through modelling and validation to deployed solutions, translating results into clear findings for stakeholders.

Responsibilities - Develop Bayesian models and stochastic simulations to generate predictions and insights. - Analyse user behaviour and system performance using statistical and quantitative methods. - Manage analytical projects end to end, including extracting, cleaning and preparing data, building and validating models, and deploying solutions. - Create proof-of-concept applications to demonstrate or put modelling results into practice. - Prepare regular reports and presentations explaining methods, progress and findings.

Requirements - A master’s degree or higher in data science, computer science, systems engineering or a closely related quantitative field. - At least two academic or professional projects using Bayesian inference, stochastic modelling or both. - Demonstrated ability to write high-quality functional or object-oriented code, with experience of roughly 10,000 lines in Python, R or another language suited to data analytics.
