Technical Solutions Analyst - Washington State

Role overview Serve as the final escalation point for highly complex and sensitive client technical issues on a dedicated support team, providing expert troubleshooting across data-driven applications, relational databases, APIs, Java, and Linux environments. The role partners with engineering and product teams while mentoring junior support staff, and applicants must reside in Washington state and work Pacific Time Zone hours.

Responsibilities - Resolve highly complex, visible, and sensitive client technical issues using expert judgment and creative problem-solving - Provide advanced troubleshooting for data-driven applications, relational databases, networking protocols, REST and SOAP APIs, Java, and Linux - Act as the Customer Support liaison during pre- and post-implementation phases to ensure technical readiness and continuity - Partner with product, engineering, and support teams to communicate customer needs and develop scalable support standards - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less senior staff; manage escalations from Tier 2 analysts - Create and maintain technical knowledge base articles and best-practice documentation - Maintain shared support environments including virtual machines, databases, and shared instances - Fulfill on-call responsibilities on a rotational basis

Requirements - 6+ years of relevant experience in technical support, application troubleshooting, or systems engineering in customer-facing or enterprise environments - Residence in Washington state and ability to consistently work Pacific Time Zone hours - Strong SQL and relational database experience - Hands-on work with REST and SOAP API/web services - Knowledge of Oracle and SAP environments - Linux/Unix exposure and shell programming - Demonstrated experience troubleshooting data-driven applications connected to relational databases, XML sources, and high-volume web services - Deep understanding of networking protocols and debugging across multiple technologies - Proven ability to manage high-stakes escalations with composure and sound judgment

Nice to have - Master's degree in a relevant STEM discipline - SAP NetWeaver architecture, ABAP web services, or SAP Mobility platform experience - Big Data and Fast Data application environments - Familiarity with Data Governance, Data Security, and Data Operations practices - Experience with VM environments, NAS, mainframe systems, and scheduling tools such as TWS or ECG - Prior experience supporting ERP tax integration or enterprise software implementations
