Role overview A cloud and network infrastructure company that blends hardware and software is hiring a Solutions Engineering Manager to lead and develop its Select and Territory pre-sales teams. This is a hands-on technical leadership role focused on coaching engineers, resolving complex escalations, and building the programs that keep a fast-paced SE organization scaling effectively.
Responsibilities - Recruit, develop, and lead inclusive, high-performing Select and Territory Solutions Engineering teams. - Serve as a technical coach and mentor, stepping in on escalations and helping shape complex customer solutions. - Identify gaps in programs and processes and take ownership of building improvements that support the SE organization. - Partner cross-functionally with sales, product, support, enablement, and marketing to improve communication and collaboration. - Champion career growth through structured coaching, mentoring, and enablement initiatives. - Travel up to 25% as needed.
Requirements - Three or more years of demonstrated leadership success as a technical pre-sales manager at a comparable company. - Hands-on experience at a cloud and network infrastructure organization with both hardware and software exposure. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Networking, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Electrical or Computer Engineering, IT Security, or a closely related field from an accredited university. - Proven track record leading high-performing sales engineering teams in close partnership with sales and product organizations. - Experience building and scaling technical pre-sales teams from early stages through growth. - Ability to work full-time on-site at the Tempe office.
Nice to have - Background spanning both enterprise and mid-market pre-sales motions.
