Role overview
A senior IT Project Manager position focused on delivering AI-enabled products and clinical analytics solutions within a life sciences setting. The role partners closely with data science, engineering, clinical operations, and product teams to take AI/ML initiatives from ideation through validated production release, while also running broader IT delivery programs. It suits a PM who can navigate regulated environments and translate scientific requirements into shipped software.
Responsibilities
- Drive the full delivery lifecycle of AI-enabled products and features, partnering with data science, engineering, and product teams from ideation through production release. - Coordinate model development, validation, and deployment milestones, including data readiness, testing, and ongoing monitoring plans for AI/ML initiatives. - Lead implementation and enhancement projects for clinical analytical solutions such as reporting/dashboarding platforms and statistical computing environments, working closely with clinical operations, medical reviewers, and data management stakeholders. - Translate clinical and scientific requirements into actionable project plans in partnership with cross-functional teams. - Ensure AI and clinical analytics projects meet applicable privacy, integrity, and regulatory requirements, including 21 CFR Part 11, GDPR, and HIPAA where applicable. - Manage end-to-end IT project delivery covering scope, planning, resourcing, budgeting, execution, and closeout, applying Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies as appropriate. - Maintain detailed project plans, schedules, RACI matrices, RAID logs, and status reports; track risks, manage budgets and forecasts, and coordinate steering committees, change control, and stage-gate reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or a related field; advanced degree a plus; PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, or equivalent certification preferred. - 5+ years of IT project management experience across infrastructure, applications, or data/analytics initiatives, with strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches and tools such as Smartsheet or Asana. - Demonstrated experience managing AI or machine learning product initiatives through deployment, with familiarity in model validation, MLOps concepts, and responsible AI and data governance principles. - Experience with clinical analytical platforms or clinical data management, reporting, or dashboards in a pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare setting, including familiarity with EDC and CTMS systems. - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences, plus vendor and budget management experience.

- Proficiency using AI assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini to support project work, and familiarity with Spotfire, Maxis AI, Veeva, and BOX applications.
