A DevOps role built around the principle that infrastructure is not an afterthought. The work centers on cloud architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring deployments are observable, resilient, and maintainable by the client's own team after the engagement ends.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud infrastructure for client projects across AWS, GCP, or Azure - Build CI/CD pipelines that development teams can actually understand and operate - Establish monitoring, alerting, and observability practices from day one of every deployment - Apply security best practices consistently across every deployment - Document infrastructure in a way that outlasts the engagement itself
Requirements
- Strong production experience with AWS or GCP - Real-world experience with Docker and Kubernetes beyond tutorial-level familiarity - Infrastructure-as-code mindset, with tools such as Terraform or Pulumi - Security-first approach applied to every architecture decision - Habit of considering the team that will inherit the work
