About this role
Role overview This position leads the strategy and roadmap for a flagship dashboard product that serves as the central control plane for individual users, teams, and enterprise accounts on a developer infrastructure platform. The work centers on transforming a project listing surface into a personalized, agent-aware experience that helps customers ship software faster. The role is hybrid, based in San Francisco, with anchor days in-office on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, and reports to the Product Lead.
Responsibilities - Set the long-term product vision, prioritization, and delivery plan for the primary surface through which every customer interacts with the platform. - Shape how autonomous agents operate inside the dashboard, from surfacing errors and proposing fixes to suggesting configuration and code changes on a user's behalf. - Move the experience from passive lookup toward proactive guidance, including insights, notifications, and recommended next actions. - Define shared information architecture, navigation, and design patterns, and partner with adjacent product areas (billing, CI/CD, observability) so their surfaces feel cohesive. - Hold a high performance and quality bar with engineering, ensuring the dashboard remains the fastest, most responsive surface in the product. - Design and run experiments that measure onboarding funnel performance, feature adoption, and engagement across distinct user segments.
Requirements - Track record of shipping developer-facing products end to end. - Hands-on experience with control planes, admin consoles, or dashboards at infrastructure, cloud, or developer tools companies. - Strong opinions about information architecture and the ability to make complex products feel simple. - Demonstrated thinking about products from both a human and an AI-agent perspective, with active use of AI tools in day-to-day workflow. - Experience running experiments and partnering with product analytics to drive roadmap decisions.
Nice to have - Background on platform or horizontal product teams where you established patterns adopted by other groups. - Prior engineering background or personal experience building software. - Work on onboarding, activation, or growth loops in a product-led growth setting. - Familiarity with personalization frameworks or systems that adapt to user segments and lifecycle stages.
Benefits and work setup - Competitive compensation package that includes equity, with eligibility for a company bonus or variable pay program depending on the role. - The San Francisco base pay range is $172,000 to $258,000, with actual salary tied to skills, experience, and location; compensation outside San Francisco may be adjusted accordingly. - Inclusive healthcare coverage and flexible time off. - Mentorship, learning stipends, and support for attending relevant industry events to build network and skills. - Provided work gear plus a work-from-home budget to set up a home office. - Hybrid schedule requiring in-office anchor days Monday, Tuesday, and Friday for candidates within commuting distance of offices in San Francisco, New York, London, or Berlin.
