Role overview
This senior customer success engineering role owns the long-term technical relationship for strategic and enterprise accounts on a Data Command Center platform spanning data security posture management, privacy, and AI governance. The position blends deep technical advisory work with executive-level stakeholder engagement, driving onboarding, adoption, expansion, and renewal outcomes across complex, high-value customer environments. It suits someone equally comfortable translating business risk into technical roadmaps and presenting to CISOs, CIOs, and privacy or data leaders.
Responsibilities
- Lead onboarding for new accounts, including environment setup, stakeholder orientation, administration portal walkthroughs, and introduction of support channels. - Analyze platform usage and customer environments to identify expansion opportunities, run success-planning and strategy sessions, and align business outcomes with product adoption. - Conduct technical assessments and recommend architectures across DSPM, privacy, data security, and AI governance offerings. - Perform ongoing health checks covering data security, privacy, and AI governance posture, and deliver quarterly value and adoption reviews. - Monitor early churn signals, define mitigation plans, and partner on renewal strategy with actionable technical insights and business cases. - Engage executive stakeholders such as CISOs, CIOs, Chief Privacy Officers, and data leaders with clear risk, status, and opportunity updates; support roadmap alignment conversations.
Requirements
- 12 or more years in customer-facing technical roles such as technical consulting, solutions architecture, sales engineering, technical account management, or customer success engineering, with a focus on data security, privacy, governance, cloud security, or enterprise software. - Hands-on experience across cloud platforms, data platforms, SaaS applications, security technologies, and enterprise architectures. - Demonstrated ability to translate business outcomes into technical adoption roadmaps and measurable value, including familiarity with DSPM, privacy, or AI governance platforms. - Executive stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to synthesize technical, business, and risk signals into clear recommendations for senior leaders. - Strong communication, cross-functional collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with a long-term account ownership mindset tied to ARR and growth potential. - Industry certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Administrator or Solutions Architect Expert, CISSP, CIPP, or CIPM are preferred.
