Forward Deployed Engineer

Role overview This is a hands-on, customer-facing engineering position focused on technical ownership of strategic deployments of a data and AI security platform. The role spans first deployment through scaled, long-term operation across complex hybrid environments, helping enterprise customers achieve security, privacy, governance, and AI-readiness outcomes.

Responsibilities - Own end-to-end technical outcomes for assigned customer accounts, from initial rollout through steady-state operation - Deploy and configure the platform across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, private cloud, and on-premises environments - Build and maintain integrations with identity providers, data platforms, SIEM/ITSM tooling, and downstream reporting or remediation systems using APIs and SSO/SAML/OIDC - Configure, tune, and troubleshoot Kubernetes-based components, containers, Linux systems, and supporting cloud infrastructure - Develop production-grade solutions such as data pipelines, custom classifiers, automations, and agent-based workflows when standard configuration is insufficient - Diagnose complex issues spanning data, deployment, and integration layers using observability tools and structured problem-solving

Requirements - 4–7+ years in technical customer-facing roles such as forward-deployed engineering, solutions engineering, platform engineering, or technical consulting - Fluency in at least one programming language (Python, Go, or TypeScript) - Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, containers, Linux, and AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud - Solid grasp of APIs, SQL/NoSQL data stores, system integration, and structured/unstructured data - Working knowledge of data security, privacy, and regulatory concepts across industries - Track record of translating ambiguous security, privacy, or business needs into clear technical plans

Nice to have - Background in DSPM, CSPM, DLP, data governance, or privacy platforms - Experience using AI-native developer tools and agents to accelerate delivery
