Role overview
A hybrid Product Owner / Project Manager position combining backlog ownership with end-to-end delivery leadership for digital experience work. The role partners with client stakeholders, an external creative agency, and a cross-functional team of architects, developers, analysts, strategists, and QA to turn business needs into shipped outcomes. Candidates must currently be based in Ontario, Montreal, or Quebec.
Responsibilities
- Own and prioritize the product backlog so it consistently reflects business objectives and delivery commitments. - Gather requirements from clients and partner teams, translating them into user stories with clear acceptance criteria and functional specifications. - Run backlog refinement and readiness sessions so work flows smoothly into each development cycle. - Track scope, timelines, budgets, and dependencies, coordinating activities across client, agency, and internal delivery groups. - Surface risks, blockers, and cross-workstream dependencies early, driving mitigation or timely escalation when needed. - Facilitate workshops, requirement reviews, and stakeholder meetings, acting as the connective layer between business, creative, and technical contributors.
Requirements
- Background as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Project Manager, or in a blended product-and-delivery role. - Demonstrated strength managing backlogs, eliciting requirements, and driving agile delivery processes. - Ability to convert complex business needs into actionable, testable deliverables. - Strong stakeholder communication skills across both technical and non-technical audiences. - Working knowledge of Agile methodologies, software development lifecycles, and modern delivery practices. - Solid organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving abilities, with comfort balancing strategic thinking and hands-on execution. - An AI-native mindset or strong willingness to use AI tools for documentation, planning, analysis, and overall delivery effectiveness.

- Experience with digital experience platforms, customer-facing products, or marketing technology ecosystems. - Familiarity with analytics-informed product decisions.
