Principal Managed Services Consultant

Role overview A senior, client-facing consulting role within a managed services practice that helps large enterprises get more value from the Atlassian ecosystem. The position blends deep technical architecture work with strategic advisory duties, working alongside transformation, delivery, customer success, and sales teams to improve stability and adoption across complex customer environments.

Responsibilities - Act as a trusted strategic advisor to enterprise customers, connecting managed services with broader transformation offerings. - Lead complex problem diagnosis and resolution across customer environments using deep Atlassian architecture knowledge and scalable solution design. - Improve system stability by spotting patterns, anomalies, recurring issues, and risks before they turn into incidents. - Design scalable frameworks, best practices, and solutions that raise operational excellence across tools, teams, and customer environments. - Lead value conversations including roadmap planning, executive briefings, optimization programs, and transformation initiatives. - Build consultative relationships with senior client stakeholders such as department heads, program managers, and IT leaders. - Coach team members on a proactive, consultative mindset and raise standards across the practice. - Establish standards for knowledge management, enablement content, onboarding, and knowledge transfer.

Requirements - Significant senior consulting experience within an enterprise services or managed services context. - Deep hands-on expertise with the Atlassian ecosystem, including architecture and integration patterns. - Track record of leading complex, multi-stakeholder technical engagements that drive measurable customer value. - Mentorship or coaching experience, with the ability to raise standards across a technical delivery team. - Strong cross-functional collaboration skills in a fast-moving, international environment. - Native-level or bilingual German and strong professional English communication skills.
