Role overview A data analyst position focused on building analytic-driven solutions for healthcare customers including payers, providers, and government entities. The role involves pulling insights from data, telling a clear story, and driving action through analytical rigor and critical thinking, while collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities - Generate ad hoc analytics and standard reports, customizing established data narratives to surface actionable insights - Build slide decks with visualizations that communicate findings to customers and internal stakeholders - Write SQL queries against large relational datasets and prepare supplemental Excel analyses when reporting templates fall short - Partner with product management and data engineering on user acceptance testing for new and updated analytics dashboards - Participate in ongoing learning initiatives to strengthen technical and data storytelling capabilities - Support teammates through collaborative problem-solving and peer review of deliverables
Requirements - At least one year in a full-time healthcare-related analytics, reporting, software, or consulting role - Experience using SQL, R, or another coding language - Strong data visualization skills - Four-year college degree, preferably in Economics, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field - Demonstrated ability to develop analyses and present them to varied audiences - Ability to use a wide variety of data assets to solve complex problems
Nice to have - Familiarity with using AI agents to improve efficiency in data analysis or visualization tasks - Experience with data visualization software tools
